Kut Expat

Kut Expat is a dramatic short film I wrote while at the Script Academy. The project explores expat loneliness, neighborhood friction, and the quiet emotional toll of feeling out of place. The film follows a lonely expat mother who struggles to connect with her new community until a late-night confrontation with a neighbor forces both of them to face the cultural divide. With sharp dialogue and intimate tension, Kut Expat captures the emotional complexity of starting over in a foreign place.
