Vlisco is a Dutch company that produces and distributes wax-printed fabrics for the African apparel market. Colourful fabrics like these have become an essential part of African culture, receiving widespread attention from the art, design and fashion worlds. In the summer of 2016, they asked me to write the copy for their 170th anniversary campaign.
